Michael was appointed in 2025 to serve as a trustee for Crowley ISD, Place 3. He is honored to have been selected from among 18 candidates.

This opportunity opened his eyes to the impact that thoughtful, collaborative leadership can have on students, teachers, and families. Visiting campuses and connecting with leaders, educators, students, and parents in recent months has only strengthened his calling to continue to serve the CISD community.

As a father of three daughters who have experienced Crowley ISD at every level—elementary, middle, and high school—Michael has seen firsthand not only the challenges families face, but also the remarkable opportunities available within our district.

He has watched his children grow as CISD has evolved, and he knows that while public education nationwide faces real pressures, our people and programs continue to improve to ensure our students thrive. Every day, these dedicated educators and staff work tirelessly—many with the pressures of being parents themselves—to create meaningful opportunities that prepare all of our children to succeed in life.

Michael believes that it truly takes a village to keep families informed, engaged, and represented. He also understands that many families want to be more involved but face barriers that make participation difficult. When parents can’t be in the room, their voices can be overlooked, and they may not always see the progress being made. He is committed to advocating for those who cannot participate or be present.

With a long, proven background in quality assurance and continuous improvement, he brings a thoughtful, systems‑driven approach to serving our schools and families.
